Writing

I practically came out of the womb loving stories. My mom used to read to me for as long as I can remember, and I could recite several of those books verbatim from the time that I was two years old.

As I grew older, words became my best friend, and I became fascinated with all that I could do with them. At the age of 15, I was honored by representatives from across New York State with the Touch the Sky award for young people who are passionate about publishing.

In fact, my earliest dream was to publish a novel. I was so very proud to accomplish this dream and publish my first novel, The Voice of Thunder, at age 17.

In college, I wrote for and later became the Editor-in-Chief of Boston University’s International Relations Review. Under my leadership, the journal grew to its largest size ever (72 pages), and its largest staff ever (36 staff members). I also overhauled and modernized its design and expanded its reach across Boston University and Boston as a whole. My photography is also published in many issues of the journal, including on the cover of the Fall 2017 issue.

My current writing is focused on historical fiction based in revolutionary India. I am seeking representation for my book, pending completion in early 2026.
